È stato presentato il programma Luminale 2012<\/strong>, il Festival delle Luci evento collaterale di Light+Building,<\/strong> la più importante fiera internazionale del settore illuminotecnico. Switch on<\/strong> domenica 15 aprile, quando installazioni e giochi luminosi<\/strong> firmate da professionisti e giovani lighting designer coloreranno Frankfurt. E grazie alla tecnica del videomapping<\/strong>, anche le architetture della città prenderanno vita.<\/p>\n

Padiglioni luminosi <\/strong>realizzati con materie prime rinnovabili<\/strong> come la pelle e la lana; microrganismi che rappresentano habitat artificiali<\/strong> dove vivere esperienze di bio-luminescenza<\/strong>, animali proiettati su edifici<\/strong> da seguire con gli sguardi per diventare partecipanti attivi delle installazioni<\/strong>; passeggeri e viaggiatori riflessi sulle facciate <\/strong>delle più importanti stazioni ferroviarie della città come simbolo di un dialogo continuo tra finzione e realtà<\/strong>: sono alcuni dei lighting project più interessanti e innovativi che illumineranno Francoforte. E non solo.<\/p>\n

La città tedesca è gemellata con Lione, che ogni anno a dicembre ospita l’incantevole F<\/strong>ê<\/strong>te des Lumières<\/strong>. Grazie a questa importante partnership, il lighting designer francese Jacques Fournier<\/strong> ha progettato per Frankfurt un’installazione luminosa nella fontana di Palmengarten<\/strong>: uno spettacolo di luci e acqua. Light and sound <\/strong>è, invece, l’installazione di Kurt Laurenz Theinert<\/strong> che colorerà di atmosfere magiche la Sala dei Dinosauri del Museo di Scienze naturali. Lo spazio e il tempo, l’attimo e la transitorietà<\/strong>, saranno invece rappresentati dall’opera di Philipp Geist<\/strong>, realizzata nella piazza del Goethe University.<\/p>\n

Mentre le installazioni illumineranno Francoforte<\/strong>, tanti sono i lighting events interessanti da ricordare. A partire da sabato 14 aprile, il giorno prima dell’inizio ufficiale del Festival, quando al Deutschen Architektur Museum<\/strong> andrà in scena il Pecha Kucha Night<\/strong>; per una notte i protagonisti della luce si racconteranno: 20 relatori avranno a disposizione 20 immagini e 20 secondi per ciascuna per raccontare la propria “light’s idea”. Una serata informale, uno show divertente dedicato alla luce.<\/p>\n

Dal 15 al 20 aprile, sarà possibile seguire il “Frankfurt green tour<\/strong>” con il team “Architecture in dialogue”, gli architetti impegnati nella costruzione di nuovi grattacieli sostenibili, in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Energia. Francoforte è molto sensibile al risparmio energetico<\/strong> e tanti sono gli edifici, residenziali e commerciali, costruiti ad alta efficienza energetica<\/strong>. La città ha conquistato il “Green Building Award<\/strong>” e sarà “European Green Capital Award 2014<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

The Luminale 2012 <\/strong>programme has been presented, the Festival of Light side event of Light+Building,<\/strong> the most important international fair in the lighting sector. Switch on<\/strong> is on Sunday 15 April, when installations and plays of lights <\/strong>designed by professionals and young lighting designers will fill Frankfurt with colour. And thanks to videomapping techniques, <\/strong>the architecture of the city will also come to life.<\/p>\n

Luminous pavilions <\/strong>created in renewable raw materials<\/strong> such as leather and wool; micro-organisms representing artificial habitats <\/strong>where bio-luminescent experiences, animals projected on to buildings <\/strong>can be seen, participants <\/strong>becoming active in the installations <\/strong>through their gaze; passengers and travellers reflected on the façades <\/strong>of the most important railway stations in the city as a symbol of a continuing dialogue between fiction and reality: <\/strong>these are some of the most interesting and innovative light projects that will illuminate Frankfurt. And that is not all.<\/p>\n

This German city is twinned with Lyons, which each year, in December, hosts the enchanting F<\/strong>ê<\/strong>te des Lumières<\/strong>. Thanks to this important partnership, the French lighting designer, Jacques Fournier,<\/strong> has designed for Frankfurt a light installation in the fountain of Palmengarten<\/strong>: a spectacle of light and water. Light and sound<\/strong>, on the other hand, is an installation by Kurt Laurenz Theinert, <\/strong>which will colour the magical atmosphere of the Dinosaur Room at the Museum of Natural Sciences. Space and time, an instant and transience<\/strong>, will be represented, on the other hand, by the work of Philipp Geist<\/strong>, created in the courtyard of the Goethe University.<\/p>\n

While the installations light up Frankfurt<\/strong>, there will be many other interesting lighting events to remember. Starting from Saturday 14 April, the day before the official start to the Festival, when the Pecha Kucha Night <\/strong>will be staged at the German Architecture Museum<\/strong>; for one night, the protagonists of light will be talking to each other: 20 narrators will have 20 images and 20 seconds each to recount their own “light idea”. It will be an informal evening, an enjoyable show dedicated to light.<\/p>\n

From 15 to 20 April, it will be possible to take the “Frankfurt green tour<\/strong>” with the team “Architecture in dialogue”, the architects involved in the building of new sustainable skyscrapers in collaboration with the Department of Energy.
