Anche le ultime vecchie lampadine a incandescenza, quelle da 25 a 45 watt (W), ci salutano. Dal 1° settembre non è più in vendita in tutta Europa l’ultima tipologia di lampadine a incandescenza ancora sul mercato. Dal 2009, infatti, a ogni primo giorno di settembre sono state messe al bando le varie tipologie: nel 2009 quelle da 100 W, l’anno dopo quelle da 75W e nel 2011 quelle da 60W. Ora tocca alle ultime, quelle da 25 fino a 45 watt.

Da settembre quindi si potranno acquistare solo le lampadine compatte (alogene e fluorescenti) e a led, che consumano in media l’80% in meno e producono CO2 in minore quantità, così da eco- sostenere l’ambiente. I vantaggi delle lampadine compatte e dei led sono notevoli.

Even the last of incandescent light bulbs, the ones with a power from 25 to 45 watts, will be withdrawn from European markets. Starting on September 1st incandescent light bulbs will no longer be sold in Europe. On September 1st 2009, in fact, a directive was implemented to phase out incandescent bulbs over the succeeding four years: in 2009 the 100W bulb was banned, followed by the 75W bulb in 2010 and the 60W bulb in 2011. And now, even the last bulbs, the one with powers from 25 and 45 watts, are banned.

Starting from September this year, only compact (fluorescent halogen) and LED lights will be sold. These light bulbs consume averagely 80% less and produce less CO2, making them fully environmentally friendly. The advantages of compact and LED lights are remarkable.
