Elegante nelle forme, tenue nei colori, pulito nelle linee. Tanto semplice nella struttura architettonica, quanto moderno e innovativo nei dettagli di luci. È il Dar Al Kalima College, una scuola progettata a Betlemme, a Madbasseh Square nel cuore della città

L’edificio è stato presentato nel 2010: si tratta di una costruzione dal design semplice ed essenziale, interessante per il sistema di illuminazione curato nei particolari dall’architetto Khouty.

Il lighting design è estremamente funzionale dal forte valore estetico. Nel progetto spiccano i Led che garantiscono una luce più a misura d’uomo, ideale per il benessere fisico e psichico. Fiore all’occhiello sono i Disano Montecarlo, faretti utilizzati più di frequente da esterno, qui invece sono stati scelti per illuminare un interno. Sospesi nel vuoto grazie a cavi in acciaio inox con ganci alle pareti, danno luce alla grande sala espositiva al piano interrato e risultano di forte impatto emotivo.

Elegant in its form, tenuous of colour, clean in its lines. As simple in its architectural structure as it is modern and innovative in the details of its lights. This is the Dar Al Kalima College, a school designed in Bethlehem at Madbasseh Square, in the very heart of the town.

The building was inaugurated in 2010: this is a construction of simple and essential design, interesting because of a lighting system planned in every detail by the architect Khouty.

The lighting design is extremely functional with a strong aesthetic appeal. LEDs figure largely in the design, ensuring light that is more on a human scale, ideal for physical and mental well-being. The jewels in the crown are the Disano Montecarlo, fixtures that are used more frequently outdoors, but which here were selected to illuminate an interior. Suspended in space, thanks to stainless steel wiring hooked to the walls, they give light to the great underground exhibition room and achieve a strongly emotional impact.

Lighting the lecture rooms, by contrast, are Disano Comfort recessed spotlights, and Fosnova Office and Fosnova Luna adjustable recessed lights. Disano provided the lighting system together with the collaboration and consultation of Beam Engineering Technology, a Palestinian company specialising in the lighting sector and a point of reference for almost all local companies.
