Dopo il viaggio by night tra le installazioni di Luminale a Frankfurt, la redazione di Archilight ha scelto la biciletta per visitare la Milano Design Week. L’InnerDesignBikeTour è un’idea originale, divertente e sostenibile organizzata da Inner Design, il network per designer e design lover, con la collaborazione dello storico brand Rossignoli.

Una mattinata in bicicletta per le vie di Milano alla scoperta di luoghi nascosti della città, trasformati inlocation d’eccezione per il Fuori Salone milanese. Un viaggio particolare sotto la guida di tre esperti: Dario Riva, Matteo Cupella e Danilo Leonardi sono i tre designer, made in Milano, che hanno regalato a noi “biker improvvisati” un’interessante prospettiva da “addetti ai lavori”.

Il bike tour inizia in corso Garibaldi, nel negozio Rossignoli, headquarter dell’iniziativa. Da lì nel Brera Design District fra installazioni e design project fino a Palazzo Clerici, cornice della mostra “Domus – The future in the making“. Un viaggio alla scoperta delle più moderne tecnologie all’insegna dell’innovazione in un contesto storico in un dialogo continuo tra passato e futuro.

A bike tour through the streets of Milan – When sustainability meets innovation

After the night walk through the Luminale installations in Frankfurt, in this article, the staff of Archilight will take you on a bike tour to visit the installations of Milan’s Design Week. The Inner Design Bike Tour is an original, fun and sustainable idea organised by Inner Design, the network for designers and design lovers, with the collaboration of the historical bike brand Rossignoli.

A morning ride by bicycle through the streets of Milan to discover the city’s hidden corners, transformed intoexceptional locations for the Fuori Salone events. A special trip guided by three expert leaders: Dario Riva,Matteo Cupella and Danilo Leonardi, three “made-in-Milan” designers who gave “improvised bikers” an interesting prospective of the installations from an “expert’s viewpoint”.

Our bike tour starts at Corso Garibaldi, inside the Rossignoli store, the initiative’s base of operations. We leave the Brera Design District surrounded by installations and design projects until we reach Palazzo Clerici, the backdrop for an exhibition called “Domus – The future in the making“. This first stop will allow us to discovery the latest innovative technology within an historical context in a permanent dialogue between past and future.
