Proprio quello che spesso manca a chi è in viaggio, per lavoro o per piacere. Per questo in molte città europee, e non solo, sta nascendo un nuovo stile di Urban Hotelche offre un’ospitalità il più vicino possibile all’idea di “home“.

Naturalmente si tratta di case di lusso, dotate di tutti i comfort. In stanze con arredi di design, oltre a servizi da grande albergo, si può trovare un’assistenza più personalizzata. In pratica, si vive un po’ l’atmosfera dei classici bed and breakfast, dove è possibile avere anche consigli per la visita della città, per attività sportive, spettacoli e tutto quello che può interessare il viaggiatore.

A Milano, una delle capitali della moda e del design, non poteva mancare una proposta di questo tipo, che viene da The Ralph, inaugurato a ottobre nello storico quartiere di Porta Ticinese.

In uno stabile ristrutturato ad hoc, affacciati su un cortile che ha il sapore della vecchia Milano la guest house offre sei suites con arredi a tema, ognuna dedicata a uno sport e quattro dependances dotate anche di spazi privati come il terrazzo o l’angolo relax con scrivania e libreria. Gli ospiti possono poi usufruire di un’elegante lobby per colazioni in comune e momenti di convivialità e di una cucina con attrezzature professionali, vini selezionati e una dispensa con i migliori prodotti

In ambienti in cui il lusso e lo charme sono le parole chiave, il progetto illuminotecnico ha un ruolo fondamentale per creare la giusta atmosfera. L’obiettivo di The Ralph era quello di creare un ambiente elegante, ma allo stesso tempo accogliente e informale.

This is the thing that those who travel for business or for pleasure miss the most. And now, many cities in Europe, and not only there, are proposing a new style of Urban Hotels that offer a type of accommodation that intends to be as close to the idea of “home” as possible.

In a specifically restructured building, overlooking a central courtyard that evokes old Milan city charm, the newly opened guest house offers six theme-furnished suites, each one dedicated to a sport, and four annexes equipped with private spaces such as a terrace or a relaxation corner with a desk and a library. Guests can also use an elegant Lobby where they can have breakfast with the other guests and share pleasant moments of conviviality, while preparing a meal with professional cookware, a prestigious selection of wines and a pantry with the best of Italian food.

In settings where luxury and charm are keywords, a lighting project has the fundamental role of creating the right mood. The Ralph’s objective was to design a space that looked elegant, yet inviting and casual.
