La luce, dettaglio d’arredo che trasforma e definisce gli spazi. Ne è un esempio l’urban project realizzato a Manhattan dallo studio Naiztat Ham Architects.

Gli architetti americani hanno restaurato un loft di 3.600 metri quadrati a Union Square, nella zona industriale della città. Grazie a un progetto di illuminazione curato nei dettagli e a un interior design moderno e dalle linee pulite, l’ambiente è stato trasformato.

Il lavoro di restauro ha evidenziato gli elementi portanti, e storici, dell’appartamento: i soffitti in mattone, le colonne e le volte, che sono stati valorizzati da binari di faretti a Led. L’eleganza dell’ambiente torna nella scelta dell’arredo e nei particolari, tra i quali il pavimento in terracotta lucido e il tavolo in legno nella sala da pranzo che riflettono la luce artificiale.

I Led sono protagonisti anche in cucina, nascosti nel mobile bianco e lucido. Una soluzione minimale, di ultima generazione, che garantisce un’illuminazione efficace e per nulla invasiva.

Dettaglio di stile glamour e raffinato, sono i Led incassati nel pavimento che delimitano la parete, ancora bianca e lucida, che separa la zona giorno dalla zona notte: un tocco di classe che evidenzia le due diverse aree del loft.

La luce artificiale accompagna e rafforza la luce naturale che viene filtrata dai finestroni alle pareti. Molto particolare la zona studio, bianca e caratterizzata da una porta a vetri che diffonde all’esterno la luce della stanza.

The American architects have restored a loft of 3,600 square meters in Union Square, in the city’s industrial area. A lighting project, styled down to the very last detail with a modern and clean interior design, completely changed the interiors.

The restoration project succeeded in highlighting the loft’s supporting and historic elements: the brickwork ceiling, the columns and vaults, which were enhanced by track-mounted LED spotlights. The elegance of the environment was recreated with a series of interior design solutions and details, including the floor in glossy fire cotto tiles and the wooden table in the dining room that reflects the artificial light.

LEDs are the protagonists even in the kitchen, where they are hidden in the glossy white kitchen furniture. A next generation minimalist solution that guarantees effective and non-intrusive lighting.

Details of style, glamour and sophistication are the floor-embedded LEDs that define the wall, which is once again white and shiny, and which separates the living area from the bedroom area: a touch of class that distinguishes the loft’s two areas.

The artificial light accompanies and strengthens natural light that flows into the room through the curtain walls. Worth mentioning is the study, which is white and characterized by a glass door that lets the room’s light filter outside.
