L’intera famiglia di schede grafiche che supporta le DiretctX11 è caratterizzata da ATI Mobility Radeon 5800, HD 5700/5600 e HD 5400. Le GPU per notebook sono dotate di interessanti funzionalità come per esempio l’ ATI Eyefinity multi-display che porta sul proprio schermo potenza visiva in ambito gaming e innovazione e le Open CL

E’ già possibile toccare con mano i primi notebook con la nuova tecnologia grafica in occasione del Consumer Electronics Show (CES), presso il VISION Experience Center, situato nella hall Grand (GL-8 e GL-10) del Las Vegas Convention Center.

Le nuove schede grafiche saranno poi alla base delle prossime piattaforme per notebook mainstream, nome in codice “Danube” e per notebook ultrathin, nome in codice “Nile” il cui rilascio è previsto nel primo semestre del 2010.

Ancora una volta quindi AMD è in grado di cambiare le regole del gioco, offrendo agli utenti notebook soluzioni performanti e innovative come per esempio il supporto alle DirectX11, la tecnologia ATI Eyefinity e l’ATI Stream studiata per aiutare a ottimizzare le prestazioni di Window 7.
