Brilla di una luce ancora più intensa e cela all’interno opere d’arte di famosi artisti internazionali e lighting designer. Così si presenta il nuovo store Swarovski, nel centro storico di Innsbruck, nel cuore della città vecchia. Un ambiente moderno e ricco di luce in cui si fondono elementi architettonici centenari, alcuni dei quali risalgono addirittura al periodo gotico.
La luce del cristallo sposa l’arte moderna e il design contemporaneo. Oltre ai cristalli Swaroski, il negozio espone installazioni di artisti contemporanei. Il primo incontro con l’arte avviene subito all’ingresso, dove è possibile ammirare il ciclo di opere “IM FACETTERNREICH” (“Nel Regno dalle Mille Sfaccettature”) dell’artista tirolese Thomas Feuerstein. Erwin Redl, artista austriaco della luce che vive e lavora negli Stati Uniti, presenta invece l’installazione “CRYSTAL MATRIX“, un richiamo a un mondo mistico e trascendentale di suoni e cristalli. I due piani dello store ospitano altre installazioni sul tema del cristallo: combinazioni affascinanti di luci ed emozioni che valgono al negozio il titolo di nuovo centro dell’incanto cristallino.
Come un prisma, il negozio riflette le sfumature e i colori dei cristalli. Una sensazione magica rafforzata dalle opere di artisti che hanno saputo creare spettacolari giochi di luci. Il tutto amplificato anche da alcuni dettagli di interior design, come le pareti a specchio e la scala in cristallo.

It delivers an even brighter light and conceals the works by famous international artists and lighting designers. It is the new Swarovski Store, in the historic centre of Innsbruck, at the heart of the old city. A modern and luminous environment where light merges with elements of century-old architecture, some of which dating back to the Gothic period.
The light of crystals marries modern art and contemporary design. In addition to the Swarovski crystals, the store showcases installations of contemporary artists. The first encounter with art is at the very entrance to the store, where visitors can admire the series of works called “IM FACETTERNREICH” (“In the Land of Thousand Shades”) by the Tyrolese artist Thomas Feuerstein. Erwin Redl, an Austrian lighting artist who lives and works in the United States, presents his installation called “CRYSTAL MATRIX“, a reference to a mystic and transcendental world of sound and crystals. The store’s two floors host other installations about crystals: fascinating combinations of light and emotions that has owed the store its name as the new centre of crystal enchantment.
Like a prism, the store reflects the shades and colours of crystals. A magical sensation which is enhanced by the works of the artists who have managed to create spectacular plays of light. Everything is also highlighted by several interior design details, such as mirror walls and the crystal staircase.
